What is a City Pup Christmas class?
In these classes, we are shifting focus to things that you will find helpful as the festive season approaches. These classes will be helpful to you if:
your dog gets too excited, barks and keeps jumping on people regardless of whether they are your guests or you are the guest;
your dog nervously barks at unusual sounds like fireworks, buzzer or knock on the door
your dog begs or starts barking the second you sit down to eat at the table
you are worried about the icy roads because your dog is lunging and pulling on the lead
you don't know how to manage your dog and you would like some basic understanding and tools when it comes to dealing with day-to-day situations
Do we need to have any training history before attending these classes?
Nope. Well, this is why we are here, isn't it! To learn. Even if that means starting from some focus work in your first class.
Where do the in-person classes take place?
Most in-perosn classes run in our studio (180 West Regent St, Glasgow), however, some might take place outdoors. Please, double check the location on the calendar before you book each class.
What times do the classes run?
These classes start on the 8th of November and run on Tuesdays @7:15pm/ Thursdays @7:15pm & Saturdays @12:15pm
Do I have to attend classes at the same time every week?
No, the beauty of training with Sky Walkers is that you can choose the classes that fit your schedule every week and book in as long as there are spaces left!
What do I need to pack for the class?
A dog would be good (although feel free to show up dogless, I'm sure we'll get you busy ;) )
A nice mix of your dog's favourite treats (feel free to mix it with their meal portion)
Your dog's favourite toy or two (something you could play tug'o'war with is the best)
Water bowl & water
A mat/throw that your dog could complete their stays on
Class length: 1hr
Class size: max 3 dogs
